Pause & Pray turns the moment you reach for an app into a short pause for prayer. With Screen Time–based controls, it helps you open only the apps you chose—with intention.
How it works
What actually happens on your phone
Pause & Pray applies only to the apps you pick with Screen Time. Here is the path from opening a blocked app to the home screen widget—so nothing feels mysterious.
Step 1
You open a blocked app
iOS shows a pause screen in the system shield first. Tap Pray to hand off into Pause & Pray.
Step 2
A notification continues the flow
Tap the notification that arrives right away to open the app and continue with Scripture and a short prayer matched to your chosen topic.
Step 3
Use only what you allowed
After the prayer moment, your unlock timer runs. When daily opens are used up, the pause screen returns. The widget shows remaining opens and your daily allowance at a glance.
