1. Overview

This policy applies to the Pause & Pray iOS app. By using the app, you agree to this policy. We may notify you of important changes in the app or on this page.

2. Data we store

The app may store the following on your device and, where applicable, on our servers:

• Prayer, commitments, and usage flow Text and timestamps you enter or that the app generates through its features.
• App settings Preferences such as prayer duration and which apps are included in limits.
• Device or account identifiers (if applicable) Minimal identifiers needed to operate subscriptions or sync, when offered.

Sensitive spiritual content is processed only within what you choose to enter. We do not sell personal data to third parties for marketing.

3. Screen Time & app selection

The app uses Apple’s Screen Time–related frameworks to apply pause-and-pray flows before you open apps you select.

• Purpose To help you use chosen apps more intentionally—not for ad profiling or unrelated tracking.
• Control Which apps are limited follows your device settings and permissions you grant in the app.

4. Subscriptions & payments

If we offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed through the Apple App Store; Apple handles payment details. We may only access minimal subscription or receipt information from Apple that is necessary to provide the service.

Cancellations and refunds follow your App Store account settings and Apple’s policies.

5. Third-party services

If we add analytics, crash reporting, or cloud sync, those providers’ policies may also apply. We will list the service names and purposes on this page when we introduce them.

6. Retention & deletion

On-device data can be removed by deleting the app or using in-app controls. If we store data on servers, we set retention periods allowed by law and delete it when those periods end.
